Here's something fun. Go to this site, scroll to the bottom, and hey look, it's that band I like!

OK, well if we are going to post another "Best of Chowflap" Behind the Music, you have to go back to your review of Beck's concert at the Iron Horse.
Probably your bravest moment yet!
Oddly enough, another blogger named Flora Reed also attended the same show. Between the two of you, I almost felt the warmth of his *hotness!*
Here's her take:
2:03 pm - BECK BECK BECK! Friday, May 23rd, 2003 I saw Beck last night at the Iron Horse and it was easily one of the best shows I've ever been to.
For those of you who don't know, the Iron Horse is a club that only fits 150 people. Beck approached them about doing a small warm up show before his big tour of venues that seat more like 800-1000 people.
The show sold out in 19 minutes but luckily, I know someone who works there and got to go... His band was amazing! They started off really mellow but by the end he funked it up and was doing all the classic Beck dance moves and getting us to repeat "Ooh La La Sasoon" and "Sergio Clemente" after him.... His hair was curlier that I expected and he was just as cute and skinny.
He on these pointy black boots and a skinny neon green belt that you could see when he jumped up and down... The encore was perfect with "Devil's Haircut" and "Two Turn Tables and a Microphone." He's one talented mofo!
Oh yes, I know of Flora. I was her plus-one to a Death Cab For Cutie show this past winter. Just a tiny correction, though: It's Sergio Valente. As in expensive and tight and kinda trashy Sergio Valente designer jeans from the 1980s.
The Beck show still stands as my number one of all time (despite having to pay a scalper $50 to get a ticket, and being in the middle of serious bad feelings brought on by the ex), though Rufus Wainwright is a close second. And of course the Fishbone show I saw in college will always remain in my top five.
