That's so sad. I'm so sorry.
I am delurking to say how sorry I am about Wedge. I know you have to be feeling very sad today, and I am sorry you had to make such a painful decision. Sending good thoughts your way for comfort in knowing you made the right decision for Wedge!
I keep thinking about the zine you and Av did during college in which there was a Wedge page. And it was all about how sexy Wedge is/was. She had kittens before you adopted her, so she knew the ways of love. She was a beautiful and sweet cat.

I haven't been around here lately and only just read the sad news.
I am so, so sorry. Wedge was such a beautiful girl, and I know what a hard decision it must have been for you. We just went through the same thing with our old gal, and we miss her every day.
Hubby and I are both thinking of you.
Ohhhh... I know this is a late, late comment, but as a cat lover, I'm always sorry to hear about things like this. Losing a pet is always so painful - they're our little animal friends. However and whenever they go, it's just not long enough, is it?
