In the comments, my sis mentioned a page about my cat Wedge that was in a zine my friend Avi and I made in her senior year of college (and my just-graduated year). I found the zine, scanned in the page, and you can read it here. My cat was really kittenish back then! I forgot how playful (i.e. semi-psycho) she was.

Hi Debbie,
I lost your mail address in one of the many transitions (real and virtual) I dealt with recently. Feel free to email it to me.
I'm so sorry about Wedge's passing. I think you made the right decision. She probably wasn't having too great of a time. Especially cats who are so proud of themselves, having to act less than perfect around their humans.
And then you remember that they are animals and can't intellectualize the gravity and multitudes of meaning that the end of life entails. That's at least one of things that sort of comforted me when thinking about Marianne's demise. I just started wanting a new kitty and looking at the local shelters' sites is so fun and heartbreaking at the same time. However, I just learned my new landlord will charge extra if I have a cat. So it's a quandry.
I never got to meet Wedge. Came very close. Sigh.
See you around and good to hear how you're handling it. Trivia night, huh?

Debi, It's great to see Wedge's page! Somehow, though I remember something from that page that I don't see: Wedge's grossest moment. Was there another page? I love that you made that page!

I totally remember that page! And the gross page, having to do with one of your hairs, as I recall?

She was a special girl.
